First of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you: and I partly believe it.For there must be also heresies [ act of taking, capture; e. g. storming a city; a body of men following their own tenets [sect or party] Sadducees, Pharisees, of the Christians; dissensions arising from diversity of aims.] among you, that they which are approved [accepted, particularly of coins and money] may be made manifest among you. 1 CORIN. 11:18-19.
The body of Christ is the Church; not some building. Not men who set themselves up as leaders. We are the church; Those who have put their faith in Christ alone.And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18.
